Ann Cothern

Ann Rainwater Cothern, age 69, of Pride LA, passed away at her residence on Wednesday, August 10, 2016.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Danny Charles Cothern and four children; her sons, Joey Cothern and wife Dena and Billy Cothern and wife Melissa; her daughters, Madonna Pendarvis and husband Patrick and Robin Rimes; her siblings, Wanda Jean Rainwater and Chuck Rainwater; and seven grandchildren, Shelby and Brandon Cothern, Ashley Pendarvis Cothern, Brieann Rimes, Wyatt and Victoria Smith and Charles Cothern.

Ann was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Eva Rainwater.

Ann graduated from Istrouma High School and after having her four children, earned her nursing degree. Ann was a precious servant of the Lord and of her whole family, relatives and friends and a nurse who cared too much. Ann has gone to be with Jesus to be waited on and loved on and to receive all Heaven has for her that she never got on earth. Please pray for her family, her children and grandchildren. Our grief is for our loss, not for Ann's new home.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cerebral Palsy Foundation would be appreciated.

Visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy., Baton Rouge, LA 70816, Tuesday, August 16, 2016 from 10:00 AM, until Funeral Service at 12:30 PM.
