Angele Spears

Angele Cecile Lemoine Spears, age 82, passed away peacefully on July 8, 2022, at Cedar Ridge Alzheimer's Care Center in Cedar Park, Texas. She was a long-time Baton Rouge resident.

Angele was born to Pinkey and Edith Rabalais Lemoine on October 18, 1939, in Redfish, Louisiana. She graduated from Westlake High School in 1957. A loving mother and homemaker, Angele enjoyed family get-togethers, cheering for the LSU Tigers, and tending to her plants and garden.

Angele is survived by her sons Craig, Robert, Paul, and Jody, former daughters-in-law Beth and Margret, and daughter-in-law Nicelle. Angele leaves behind seven grandchildren Angie, Megan, Trey, David, Gabrielle, Jeremy, Zachary, and two great-grandchildren, Michael and Richard. Angele is preceded in death by her husband Robert, parents, Pinkey and Edith Lemoine, and brother Dayton Lemoine.

Visiting hours will be 1 pm to 2 pm, followed by a service and burial at Resthaven Gardens of Memory at 11817 Jefferson Hwy., Baton Rouge, LA., on Friday, July 15, 2022.
