A homemaker and a native of Omaha, Neb., she died of lung cancer at 9 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 12, 2008, at her home in Baton Rouge. Visiting at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, on Thursday, Jan. 17, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and on Friday from 9 a.m. until service at 11 a.m. She is survived by her husband, Victor Brady; two daughters, Pam and husband Toby Vicknair, of Baton Rouge, and Kelly and husband Paul Tuffly, of Houston; stepdaughter, Joanne Brady; son, Phillip Sceiczina and wife Stephanie, of Plano, Texas; two sisters, Patricia Riebling and Phyllis Malfi; and seven grandchildren, James Jr., Steven and Allyson Cottrell, Amanda and Melanie Sceiczina, Avery Tuffly and Colin Barnett. Preceded in death by her parents, Phillip Bellarmino and Vita Conigliaro; and sister, Josephine Becker. She was a member of Altrusa International of Baton Rouge and a volunteer with the battered women's hotline.
