Andy Gubancsik, Jr.

Andy Gubancsik, Jr. died peacefully in his home in Baton Rouge on December 17, 2012 at the age of 86. He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Ann Bayus Gubancsik two sons and their wives, John and Gerrie Gubancsik, and Gary and Jackie Gubancsik sister, Anna Prokop Julius grandchildren, Karen Chapman Clint, Brandon Gubancsik Ashley, Trina Conerly Trey, and Cory Gubancsik Chrissie and greatgrandchildren, Kaylee, Cole, Cassidy, Hannah, Gabbie, Caroline, Karley, and Aiden. Andy was an Army Veteran of WWII and was retired from South Central Bell after 35 years of service. He is preceded in death by his parents, Andy Gubancsik, Sr. and Anna Kosko Gubancsik brother, Mike Gubancsik and two halfbrothers, John and Steve Horvath. Visitation will be held at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church on Thursday, December 20, 2012 from 9 am until Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am. Burial will follow in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in his name to the OLOL Childrens Miracle Mansion.
