Andrea Michelle Robinson Scott was born on August 22, 1978, in Memphis, TN, to Jeffrey and Rebecca Robinson. Michelle passed away at her home on January 29, 2015, at the age of 36.
She was a resident of Baton Rouge, LA. Michelle's spiritual career as one of Jehovah's Witnesses began as a young girl. She was baptized on April 3, 1993. As a young woman, she was focused on preaching the good news about Jehovah God's Kingdom and served as a regular pioneer. Her personality was such that she looked for the good in everyone, and in turn, was loved by everyone. She also loved her two dogs, Zoe and Bentley, very deeply. They were a huge part of her life. Her smile was beautiful, and her laugh was infectious. Michelle was dearly loved and will be sadly missed by all of her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband, Brandon Scott of Baton Rouge, LA; parents, Jeffrey and Rebecca Robinson of Baton Rouge, LA; brother, Jeff Edwards and his wife, Habeeb, and their daughter, Haley of Prairieville, LA; maternal grandparents, David and Bernice Eley of Cordova, TN; aunts, Leslie Lumpkin of Cordova, TN and Deborah Lockwood of Savannah, TN; mother-in-law, Nanette Scott Stapleton and husband, Mike of Long Beach, MS; father-in-law, Ronald Scott and wife, Robin of Livingston, LA; two brothers-in-law Ryan Scott and wife, Nicole, and their daughter, Sydney of Prairieville, LA and Jonathan Scott and wife, Kylie of Baton Rouge, LA; along with a host of other aunts, uncles, cousins, her beloved pets Zoe and Bentley and friends.
Michelle is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Melvin and June Robinson of Memphis, TN. She had also lost her cherished pets - Dude, Chloe, and Jaxon.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed on Tuesday, February 3, 2015, at Resthaven Gardens of Memory and Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, Baton Rouge, LA, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 3, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. at Resthaven Gardens of Memory and Funeral Home. Services will be officiated by Brother Kiffin Luce of the Lakeshore Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses in Baton Rouge, LA.
In lieu of flowers, she would want donations to be made to the Woodlawn Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses, 2562 Toulon Drive, Baton Rouge, LA.
