Ana Aragon Thomas, 78, passed away on Wednesday morning, October 16, 2013 at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. She was a resident of Baton Rouge, Louisiana and a native of Cuba. She was a homemaker, a caring daughter, a loving wife, a devoted mother, and a wonderful grandmother. She had several nicknames including Mami, Terri, and Tia. She loved to cook and spend time with family. She was a member of St. Jude the Apostle Catholic Church. She is survived by her son, Calvin C. Thomas Jr, and his wife Kim and five grandchildren, Ashley Cochran, Lauren Thomas, Grant Thomas, Kelly Rizzo and her husband Brad, and Katie Stein. She is preceded in death by her parents, Mariano and Ana Aragon aunt, Luz Vega husband, Calvin C. Thomas daughter, Ana T. Cochran brother, Carlos A. Aragon nephew, Carlos Aragon Jr., and greatnephew, Paul Garcia. Visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral home on Monday, October 21, 2013 from 5pm until 8pm. Visitation will resume on Tuesday, October 22, 2013 at St. Jude the Apostle Catholic Church from 11am until Mass of Christian Burial at 12 noon conducted by Rev. Michael Collins.
