Amy Michelle Miller Slattery of Baton Rouge, passed away on Sunday, March 26, 2017,
Born in Baton Rouge, Amy graduated from Parkview Baptist High School in 2000. She continued her education graduating with degrees from University of Southern Mississippi and Southeastern Louisiana University. Amy worked as an accountant, and volunteered for Yelp! Baton Rouge Dog Rescue.
Amy is survived by her spouse, Daniel Slattery of Baton Rouge; her beloved dogs, Fluffy, Bandit, Buttons, and Skeeter; her sister, Susan and brother-in-law, Travis; niece, Olivia and nephew, Andrew; mother, Janis Landry of Baton Rouge; aunt, Barbara and uncle, Jerry Komorech of Glen Ellyn, IL; grandfather, Jules Landry of Baton Rouge; and Guy and Bobbie Koontz of Baton Rouge.
She is preceded in death by her grandmother, Lula Mae (Willis) Landry.
Visiting hours will take place at Resthaven Gardens of Memory and Funeral Home on Saturday, April 1, 2017, from 1:00 PM until services at 3:00 PM.
