Amelia Anderson

Amelia Galmiche Adams Anderson, native of Covington, La and resident of the Glading Community in Magnolia, Miss, passed away on Saturday, February 18, 2012 at the age of 89. Visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 21, 2012 from 9 am until religious services at 11 am. Burial will follow in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. She is survived by her husband, W.L. Andy Anderson two daughters, Constance R. Adams Bonaventure and wonderful friend DJ Chustz, and Kathleen Powenski and husband Larry three sons, Cyril L. Adams, Jr. and wife Dale, Charles Adams and wife Linda, and Greg Adams and wife Yvonne three stepdaughters, Judy Payne and husband Doc, Martha Hennessey and husband Emmett, and Kay White and husband Teddy one stepson, John Vernon Buzzy Anderson and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her first husband, Cyril L. Adams, Sr., parents, Emile Galmiche and Mallie Mulkey Theady and one stepson, Joey Anderson. Amelia loved to garden, read poetry, cook, and bird watch. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, and will be missed by all who knew her.
