Alyce Taylor Davis 89 a resident of Baton Rouge, LA and a native of Melville, LA. She passed away on Saturday February 2, 2013. She is survived by daughter Jacquelyn McNamara, grandchildren and their spouses Chad and Nancy Clay, Corey and Nalynne Clay, Daniel McNamara, Jean and JR Bitzer and Elizabeth and Rob Fielder great grandchildren Jackson Bitzer, Will Clay, Olive Clay, Jack Clay, Celia Clay and Robby Fielder. She is also survived by her foster son Jim Brech. She is preceded in death by her husband of 57 years Jack Davis, father Murphy Taylor, mother Argentine Bazar, step father Jack Burleigh, daughter Babette Davis, brother Murphy Taylor, Jr. and sister Neva Pullen. A special thanks to the staff of Sunrise Assisted Living, Clarity Hospice and an extra special thanks to Jynell Hurst. She was a member of PEO for 53 years. She was also members of Entrenous, Ladies of Bal Masque, Broadmoor United Methodist Church and Le Chapeau Chic.
