Alice Thompson

Alice Dille Thompson, age 84, a resident of Baton Rouge, LA, passed away on Thursday, September 3, 2015, at the Butterfly Wing.

Alice is survived by her daughter, Paulette Gonia & husband Michael; son, Paul "Sonny" Heimer & wife Karis; grandchildren, Matthew & Tyler Gonia, Jeff Heimer & wife Katie, and Jennifer Heimer; great-grandchildren, Michalah & Juliet; sister, Hilda Landaiche; and numerous nieces & nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Bill Thompson; parents, Moise & Enola Dille; and sisters, Margie Gautreau, Laura Gautreau, and Elaine Webb.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed on Saturday, September 5, 2015, at Resthaven Gardens of Memory & Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway from 1:00 PM until the time of services.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2015, at Resthaven Gardens of Memory and Funeral Home at 2:30 PM, officiated by Cindy Edmunds.

Interment will take place at Resthaven Gardens of Memory Cemetery.

The family would like to thank the staff of the Hospice of Baton Rouge and the Butterfly Wing for their overwhelming support. You will always have a special place in our hearts.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Hospice of Baton Rouge.
