Alice Mosher

Alice Jane Lusk Mosher AJ

A much beloved mother, motherinlaw and grandmother passed away on Saturday, December 20, 2014 at the age of 87.


Jane was born November 26, 1927 in Liberty, MS to Walter and Gertie Lusk. After graduating from Liberty High School, she moved to Baton Rouge to attend nursing school at the original Baton Rouge General Hospital. On September 6, 1947 she married her husband of 65 years, Harold Sut Mosher, Sr. After raising her three sons, she earned her LPN and worked at the MidCity Baton Rouge General in surgery for 10 years.


She is survived by her sons, Harold Mosher, Jr. and wife, Kay, Walter Bill Mosher and wife, Debbie, and Robert Bobby Mosher and wife, Jan granddaughters, Lauren Mosher Tomlin and husband, Bryce, Hayley Mosher, Jennifer Mosher Fernandez and husband, Nolan, Sarah Mosher Dermody and husband, Juan. She is preceded in death by her husband Harold Sut Mosher, Sr.


She instilled a sense of integrity and family values to her sons through her continued guidance. Her greatest joys in her life was going to 7th Armored Divisions conventions with her husband, playing golf, boating with her family, bird watching, flower gardening, word puzzles and spending time with her granddaughters. The family would like to than Frankie for her loving attention and friendship.


Visiting hours will be observed at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy, on Tuesday, December 23, 2014 from 10:00 AM until service time at 12:00 PM.
