Alice Chenot

August 6, 1930 — March 25, 2010

Our beloved wife and mother died at 3:05 p.m. Thursday, March 25, 2010, the day of the Feast of the Annunciation. She was 79, a resident of Baton Rouge and a native of Dunkirk, N.Y. A rosary will be recited at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 11441 Goodwood Blvd., on Tuesday, March 30, at 9:30 a.m. with a prayer service to follow. Visiting will begin at the church at 10 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m., celebrated by the Rev. Tom Duhe. Inurnment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Survived by her husband, A. Richard Chenot three daughters and a soninlaw, Marie and Donnie Davis, Michelle Chenot Williamson, and Claire Juvenal and fiance A. John Braud a son, Thomas A. Chenot a brother and sisterinlaw, Norman and Lyla Levandoski seven grandchildren, Donald Eric, Emily and Megan Davis, Jennifer Lyndsey Juvenal, James William and Jacqueline Casey Crouch and Jackson Augustus Williamson and greatgrandchild, Wesley Kyle Hano. Preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Josephine Levandoski. She was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church and the Secular Franciscan Order. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Carpenter House of St. Joseph Hospice, 10615 Jefferson Highway, Baton Rouge, LA 70809.
