Alex Sulik, Sr.

Our beloved husband, father and grandfather passed away Tuesday, March 15, 2011, at age 76. He was born Jan. 30, 1935, in La Grange, Texas, and was a resident of Baton Rouge. He was a Marine Reserves veteran and retired after 42 years of service from Nabisco Foods. Visitation at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, on Thursday, March 17, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 15615 Jefferson Highway, on Friday, March 18, at 10:30 a.m. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Kay Peterson Sulik children and grandchildren, Ron and Cinde Sulik Broussard, Christopher Bordes, Scott and Joan Sulik, Stacie and Scott Jr., Andy and Julie Sulik, Eric, Samantha, and Sandy, Gerard and Dayna Sulik Luke, Ashley, William, Madeline Luke, Joseph and Karen Sulik, Shannon and Jeremy, Alex Jr. and Lauren Sulik, Kristina and Kelsey, David and Ashley Sulik, Brandon, Austin and Parker and sister, Virginia Kunze. In lieu of flowers, the family requests a Mass service be said in his honor.
