Albert Westall, Sr.

Albert Thomas Westall, Sr., age 88, native of Homer, LA, and resident of Baton Rouge, LA, passed away on April 19, 2015, at his residence.
Albert was a veteran of the United States Navy, a retired school teacher and a volunteer firefighter.
He is survived by his daughters, Barbara Westall, and Debra Westall and husband, Francisco Garcia; sons, Tommy Westall and wife, Karen, and Joe Westall; grandchildren, Tracy Ducote, Tammy Ducote and John Morgan, Tiffany Dunn and husband, Desmond, Adam Westall, Rebecca Westall, and Francis Garcia-Westall; great-grandchildren, Taylor, Paige, Micah, and Keilyn; sister, Mary Ann Westall; brother, William Westall and wife, Jacque; brothers-in-law, Paul Madden, and Tommy Pixton and wife, Marie; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Albert is preceded in death by his loving wife of 58 years, Anne; daughter, Catherine Westall; parents, Harry and Evelyn Westall; brother, Robert Westall; and sister, Phyllis Madden.
The family request that visitation hours be observed on Wednesday, April 22, 2015, at Resthaven Gardens of Memory Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, Baton Rouge, LA, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
A second visitation will be Thursday, April 23, 2015, at Jefferson United Methodist, 10328 Jefferson Hwy, Baton Rouge, LA, from 9:00 AM until the time of services.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, April 23, 2015 at 10:00 AM at Jefferson United Methodist, officiated by Michi Head.
Interment will take place at Resthaven Gardens of Memory Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in the name of Albert Westall to The Alzheimer's Foundation or to Jefferson United Methodist.
