Agnes Honore

A resident and native of Rosedale, she died at 2:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 29, 2011, at The Carpenter House. She was 74. Visiting at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 76940 Gum St., Grosse Tete, Friday, Sept. 2, from 8:30 a.m. until Mass of the Resurrection at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Joseph Sanjay, celebrant. Recitation of the rosary at the church at 10:15 a.m. Private burial at a later date. Survived by her five daughters, Phyllis and husband Frank Cordova, Paula Gieron, Peggy and husband Gregory Beasley, Penny and husband Mark Trepagnier, and Patricia Honore son, Phillip J. Honore and wife Claudette sister, Loyce Patin and husband Cecil brother, John Gilbert Verret and wife Alice 11 grandchildren and three greatgrandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Honore parents, Edward and Leontine Verret soninlaw, Jacob Gieron two brothers, Edward and Peter Verret fatherinlaw and motherinlaw, Mr. and Mrs. Paul B. Honore Sr. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Special thanks to the nurses and staff with St. Joseph Hospice at The Carpenter House for the care given to Mrs. Honore.
