Adrien Roussel

Adrien A. Roussel, native of Baton Rouge and resident of Walker, went to be with the love of his life, Audrey Roussel on Friday, August 31, 2012 at the age of 81. Visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home on Monday, September 3, 2012 from 1 pm until funeral services at 3 pm. Burial will follow in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. He is survived by his loving children and their spouses, Libby Jay Tigner, Lillian Roy Robison, Ronald Roussel, Bobbie and Jeff Reeves, Debbie and John Singleton, and Carlene Stafford 12 grandchildren 21 greatgrandchildren and one sister, Rose Jeanne Buccola. He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 61 years, Audrey Roussel parents, Hunter and Anna Louise Roussel three brothers, Benjamin W., Hunter L., and Louis W. Roussel. Adrien was a proud veteran of the U.S. Air Force serving from 19471951. He was a member of VFW, UCT, American Legion, Telephone Pioneers, and Immaculate Conception Church. Adrien loved God and his country. He enjoyed making model airplanes and spending time with his family.
