Adrian C. Bach was born on June 4, 1928 in Hazard, Kentucky. He passed away on Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at 10:30 pm, in Baton Rouge surrounded by his family. Adrian was the only child born to the marriage of Cecil Young Bach and Sophia Elizabeth Barrett. He was the youngest of his mothers seven children and the oldest of his fathers nine children. Adrian was raised at his familys home, White Pines in Seitz, Kentucky, afterwards in Dayton, Ohio by his father and stepmother, Iva Trusty. He served during WWII in the US Army as Tech 4 ORD, stationed at the Panama Canal. Adrian was a licensed Electrician, licensed Plumber, licensed Real Estate Agent, and Insurance Designation FMLICSA. He attended LSU in Baton Rouge. He worked for GMFrigidaire in Dayton, Ohio as a ForemanElectrician, United Companies in Baton Rouge, as a Conservation Agent, Better Homes Realty as Vice President, and Bach Enterprises, Inc. as President. He was a member of the Woodlawn Baptist Church. Adrian is survived by his wife, Brenda Joyce Mayo Bach son, Jerald L. Bach and wife Jann daughters, Joanna Bach Smith and husband Brad, Jessica Bach Miller and husband Brandon, Adrienne Hollier Truxillo, Heather Hollier Jenkins and husband Jason sister, Ann Bach Evans brothers, Jay Bach and wife Diane, David Bach and wife Marlene, and Gary Kirk Back and wife Laura grandchildren, Jolie Bach Stout, Jami Bach Kowles, James Burnett, Carrie Ann Moore, Christie Burnett, Sydney Truxillo, Bailey Bourgeois, and Quinn Jenkins nine greatgrandchildren, 1 greatgreat granddaughter, and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, mother, stepmother daughter, Judith Bach LeBlanc and granddaughter, Jenny Leigh Bach and siblings, Lester Martin, Mary Martin Stanton, Edgar Martin, Dorothy Martin Maples, Theo Martin Jr., Earl Martin, Ernest C. Back, Dolly Bach Marcum, and Greg Bach. Visitation will begin Thursday, January 9, 2014 from 5 PM until 8 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, Baton Rouge, LA 70816. Visitation will continue at 1:30 pm on Friday, January 10, 2014 at Woodlawn Baptist Church, 5805 Jones Creek Road, Baton Rouge, LA 70817 until services beginning at 2:30 PM.
