Adam Boudreaux

A retired customer engineer for IBM with 30 years of service, he died of lung fibrosis on Sunday, May 31, 2009, at his home. He was 71 and a resident and native of Baton Rouge. He was a 1956 graduate of Istrouma High School and a veteran of the U.S. Navy. A memorial service to celebrate Bodie's life will be on Sunday, June 14. Survived by his wife, Barbara Willard Boudreaux; former wife, Glenda Behrnes Boudreaux, of Baton Rouge; two daughters, Aurelia Burns and husband Gary, of Prairieville, and Laura Miller and husband Lt. Col. James Miller, of Clarksville, Tenn.; son, Gregory J. Boudreaux and wife Lynn, of Prairieville; two stepsons, Daren Hollis, of Denham Springs, and Allyn Hollis and wife Laura, of Church Point; two brothers, Nelson Boudreaux and wife Elsie, and Walter Boudreaux Jr. and wife Cathy, all of Baton Rouge; seven grandchildren, four step-grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents, Walter J. and Aurelia Falcon Boudreaux; stepmother, Judith Hebert Boudreaux; son, Keith Boudreaux; and stepbrother, James Gaudet. Bodie was an avid fisherman, handyman and all-around good guy. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to United Way, 700 Laurel St., Baton Rouge, LA 70802.
