Ada Belle Smith Miller, age 83, a native of New York, NY and a resident of Baton Rouge, LA passed away on August 27, 2018.
She was a singer and piano teacher in Baton Rouge for 30 plus years.
Ada Belle is survived by her husband, James Roland Miller, Jr.; her children, James Roland Miller, III, Stanley Clarke Miller and wife Julie, and Dorothy Miller Thompson and fiancé Derek Carrillo; grandchildren, Leigh Miller, James Miller, Nicholas Miller and wife Danielle, Matthew Miller, Olivia Miller, and Alexanne Thompson; great-grandchild, Charles Martin Miller; and family friends, Dottie and Randy Smith and Marlene and Joe Quartano.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Eben Bruce Smith and Florence Gertrude Weeks Smith; and her sisters, Florence McMann, Bea Thurston, Vivian Currey, Gloria Robertson, and Daisy Dennis.
Visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy, Baton Rouge, LA on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 from 11:00am until funeral service at 1:00pm. Burial will immediately follow in Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
