Ada Catania

Ada Merle Aaron Catania, a native of Liberty, Mississippi, and resident of Greenwell Springs, La., passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by family on Monday, March 05, 2012 at the age of 91. She is survived by her two children and their spouses, Seritta C. and Billy Lyon, and Michael Catania and fiance Lynn DeBenedetto three grandchildren, Ragan Lyon LeBlanc and husband Marco, Kami LyonThomas and husband Ben, and Kristen Catania Garsee and husband Jeff five greatgrandchildren, Laney and Landen LeBlanc, Camille Thomas, and Jacob and Riley Garsee and one brother and sisterinlaw, Bob and Myrtis Aaron. She is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Catania daughter, Mary Annette Catania parents, Roy Rogers and Allie Alene McManus Aaron sisters, Louise Dillon, Grace Freeman, Doris Craig, Gloria Jean Butler, and Peggy Braud brothers, James, JC, and Bill Aaron and daughterinlaw, Barbara Bueche Catania. Visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 6, 2012 from 5 pm until 8 pm and will resume on Wednesday, March 7, from 9 am until religious services at 11 am. Burial will follow in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Pallbearers will be Phillip Freeman, Larry Auter, Glen Talbot, Lynn Aaron, Frankie Morgan, and Jason Morgan. Ada was a beloved mother, grandmother, and greatgrandmother she will be missed by all who knew her.
